This just arrived. Good time, around 8:30pm. I have it on my bed and I'm under the covers. I'm 56 and this is my rest time. 🥱 I have 60x80. 15 pounds. I am very impressed with the fact that this blanket is "very thin". I like that. I am recently widowed. I love the weight it has on my legs. It's like my dear husband is lying under the covers with me, the covers pulled tight. It's wonderful and calming. Tomorrow I will report how well it helped me to fall asleep. 😴Good morning 😀I have to say that I slept really well. The blanket kept me cool all night. It's thin and feels silky. Almost like a good set of bed linen. The extra weight really made it feel snuggly. The added pressure of the weighted blanket is just what I needed. I didn't hesitate. I didn't sweat, didn't feel warm. I'm sure Gladi got 15 pounds. I have a hard time putting him on the bed. I found that my sleep was definitely better than it had been in a while. When you miss your deceased spouse from your bed. That can help. Now please don't get me wrong, I'm suggesting that this could replace human touch, but it could make sleeping a little better. I'll take the duvet cover as you suggest. It's certainly not just any blanket that can be washed frequently.
