This is the second shelf I have ordered. The first arrived quite damaged. Apparently it was either dropped or abandoned by the carrier. Customer service was very good and returned my credit card within 2 or 3 days and asked me to throw away the damaged shelf. The shelf itself is very easy to assemble. It took me less than 10 minutes to load the hardware into the drywall, hang the shelf, and then place my stuff on it. It has been 36 hours since installation and the shelf appears to be attached to the wall very firmly. The materials that make up the shelf feel a bit cheap and I'm not surprised that it breaks easily in transit. My suggestion to the shipping company was to pack more padding in the box the shelf is shipped in. This shelf arrived undamaged, but I think it had more to do with luck than anything else. The boxed shelf was placed in a Revain shipping carton without protection. My 4-star rating breaks down as follows; The shelf itself gets 3 stars. 4 stars overall for easy installation and fantastic and friendly customer service plus an extra star.
