Review on Kent A 81T Bundle X-Small Gentleman's Pocket Comb: Fine Toothed Facial Hair Grooming and Styling | Hand-Made in England by Pamela Mcgee

I used to have a very small mustache comb in a beard grooming kit I was given as a gift many years ago. It was about a third the size of that comb and looked like it belonged in a doll's house. Along with a small pair of smooth-tipped scissors, it was perfect for trimming my eyebrows. To comb my mustache, I usually use a brush on both my beard and mustache. An electric beard and mustache trimmer worked better than scissors to trim my mustache, but for trimming my eyebrows this little comb was perfect. It's hard to describe my true sadness when one day I couldn't find that little comb. I kept it and the scissors in a zippered bag the size of a snack on a dresser. I looked everywhere for them and the only thing I could think of was this zippered bag that had slipped unnoticed from the dresser into the trash can below and was thrown out with the trash. I've looked everywhere for an exact replacement, but after a year of searching I haven't found anything. Then I found this little mustache comb from Kent and it looked promising. It's about three times the size (if you can believe it) but does the trick. I read somewhere that Kent combs are made from cellulose acetate. I wasn't impressed at first, but upon further research I found that acetate is superior to most plastics and is used in things like higher quality eyewear frames. Acetate is certainly not a cheap plastic. Acetate is a non-petroleum material made from wood pulp. It's durable and lightweight, easy to color. It is built up layer by layer into boards and then cut and processed into products. These properties make it an ideal material for Kent combs. Unlike cheap combs used for plastic injection molding, these Kent combs are cut from acetate sheets, then the teeth are trimmed and polished to give them a very smooth finish. Quality comb (except maybe for an oversized stamp on the side). I am very pleased with this Kent mustache comb.
