It was exactly what I was looking for! I grew up with my father on a marble chess table that he bought in Greece before I was born. I loved the aesthetic that a full chess table brought to the living room growing up. I wanted the same aesthetic without the weight. That was excellent! This is a beautiful high quality item. I've played it several times. The height is just right and the wood tones are beautiful. An added bonus is the drawer where I can store my hand cut chess pieces. Don't doubt, it's worth the price!
