Probably a little thinner than I expected, but the warmth was substantial and almost instantaneous as soon as I put it on. The fit and how the face mask hits you will be an individual thing; I've found this to work very well. The slit in the face mask will likely help reduce condensation, but nothing will work perfectly. Leaving the mask loose on one side works great if you want to carry it around but don't want it on all the time, but it may bother some people hanging there, but it's easy to take off and put in to tuck into your pocket. . The stitching appears to be good; I don't know how it will hold up, but I see no reason to expect any problems.
