I work in an office, am 41 years old, and am a little overweight. I like Samsung smartphones, and the Samsung Health app in particular. Watches were purchased as a motivational tool for exercise. I don't pay for goods by the hour, I don't reply to communications, and so forth. I exercise with the watch's built-in workouts, which include swimming, cycling, planking, and using the third-party software "Skimble" (sets of exercises for home). It is typical to fly. What disappointed me a little: I had hoped for more seamless connection with Samsung Health. Example: The watch is missing some workout types. I have roller skates, for instance (there is no such training in the watch, but it is in the phone, in the application). The watch should get a command from the phone saying, "I have started training here. Give me heart rate data so that I may more precisely compute the calories burned." However, there is no explicit calculation or transfer of data regarding the pulse; instead, the value is retrieved from an internal directory with the only input being the length of the workout. I may be placing too much demand on this watch. They wouldn't even be recharging on a trek, so I probably wouldn't take them. They are still designed to fit a city dweller's hand. Occasionally (approximately 7% of bike excursions), the GPS does not activate, and the running clock displays "by zeros." The clock may occasionally—and very infrequently—lie on a shelf and then indicate that you were asleep at the time. Obviously, this is trivial. They are not at all stressed. My long wait was totally justified. I am inspired by them to participate in more sports.
