This is the third order for this yarn. I make coffee linen bags and needed a strong and thick thread for the job that wouldn't be too expensive. After researching Revain and reading many reviews, I decided on this one. My first two orders fitted perfectly, I was able to use this thread even on smaller parts without affecting the quality of the end product. I was so happy I placed another order. Only this time I had a big problem with the thread knotting, untangling and breaking. I had a few more orders to finish and ship before Christmas and didn't have time to wait for another one. The order must be delivered. So I went online and checked the reviews again to see if I missed anything, anything. And I'm so glad I did because I really missed the point, which is using the right size needle for the thickness of the thread. This is a T-70 that requires a 16/100 or 18/110 size. I used a size 16/100 which worked for the first two cones I ordered but oddly didn't work the third time. . Going to size 18/110, the same cone that was giving me so much trouble worked with no problems, didn't unravel, tangle, or fray. I was able to complete all my orders and continue using the thread without incident. This thread is excellent value for money. It's very strong and you can't break it with your hands. However, if he ties, he will most likely break the needle before the thread breaks. that's how durable it is. So if you have problems with fraying and knotting I would check your needle size to make sure it will fit. Just because you've used the same thread from a different brand with a certain hook size doesn't mean you can use it with that thread. I have made several bags with this thread and they are SUPER strong. this review if I have any problems in the future because now I'm ordering more of this thread in different colors. I am very satisfied with her and recommend her!
