Hard filters are bloody expensive for what they are. I had a job where the filter (assuming it was already in use) was ruined in 5 minutes, filled with bits and pieces I just couldn't figure out. Bought a new filter and also bought this product - got the job done and this time the filter cover didn't let all the fine dirt through. Lid removed, shaken and my new filter still looks and works like new. Very happy!
