I am in love with my LUXEAR blanket. I've been experiencing hot flashes for months and been unable to sleep under a blanket because of it because I wind up getting sweaty, flushed, overheated, and gross, but I really need the feeling of one covering me to fall asleep. The LUXEAR is perfect because it's heavier than a sheet so I can fall asleep under it, and the arc-chill fabric feels icy against me all night. I fall asleep under it with my ceiling fan running and I no longer wake up sweaty and miserable, and over what's been an extremely hot summer and a week without AC, this blanket felt like it saved my life (or at least my ability to sleep!)It's a nice slick material that's comfortable to touch and I love stretching out under it. The only reason I rated softness 4/5 is I don't like the side that's not cool material as much. It's not rough and scratchy like a hospital blanket or anything, but it's not buttery-soft.
