Ideal for glass top tables. Was looking for a dual monitor mount for a height adjustable table from Costco (Tresanti) and it fits well as the base that touches the glass is wider and spreads the pressure evenly across the glass. To make sure the pressure is even better distributed, I added a vivo steel plate that is 8" x 6" just to be safe. The table rails are not wide enough to tighten the 2 round set screws. So I used 1 steel plate that came with the bottom of the vivo steel plate and the other that attaches the hub so the entire circular screw puts pressure on the shaft. Mounting the monitors was easy. It would be nice if the supplied screws were black to match the color of the monitor. It is best to hide the cables with your hands. Make sure the cables are connected before placing the stand on the table. I struggled to unscrew the cable cover from the lower arm after mounting it on the table, which in turn resulted in damage to one of the cable covers. One possible downside to this mount is that it only supports monitors weighing less than 14 pounds. Some of the reviews on this product are rated lower, but these reviews are for a different product. So don't worry about less rated reviews.
