First, this lightbar does not operate as advertised. "Change the color with the switch. When the light bar is on, turn it off and on again within 1 second to change color." What actually happens is that every time you turn off the light bar, the color changes to the next. So um to get the color you want (actually there are three: white, amber and both), you almost always have to switch between colors. It doesn't matter if you wait less than 1 second or 10 minutes. It's scary. Second is the Light output is simply depressing. Despite not having built-in diffusers, this light doesn't project onto the road. This is a flood pattern that makes no noticeable difference in your ability to see beyond about 75 yards. It does a good job of showing the roadsides and to illuminate the area directly in front of your car that the headlights miss but that's about it. That's not why I bought it. I bought this because I get snow in the winter chase and wanted to add some amber light when driving in a snow storm. I knew I was experimenting when I bought the product but this is really disappointing.
