Review on Maylit Pre-Cut 6.56ft LED Strip TV Lights Kit: USB Powered Remote Control RGB Bias Lighting for Room Decor | 40-60in TV LED Backlight by Maylit by Cedrick Ayudara

So I bought it because I wanted a cinematic effect, it looked cool, and based on photos from other reviewers. These lights are cool and easy to set up, but they don't stick! I cleaned my TV before adding the backlight (following guide and common sense). I had to put lots of pieces of tape on the back of the TV to keep those lights on. They also don't fit around the TV. The backlight only works when using the remote control, which is very disappointing. I know my 1.5 year old will eventually find my remote stash (he finds it all the time!) and the remote will end up in his stash which I have yet to find (obviously he's better at this game than me ). I was hoping it would light up when the TV was on, but it doesn't. You also need to be very close to the TV for the remote to work. I guess you get what you pay for, huh? Overall it's cool, but it could be better! I'll have to keep looking for a good pair of lights to create a cinematic effect.
