So let's say you leave them in the hot sun for a season and then maybe for the winter they become some kind of trash but when they decompose you can just use them as a giant planter or compost heap. But for those used indoors, they hold up very well. When folded, they are deceptively strong and compact. They're loud and crunchy when mashed. I'm sure they're very cheap at the Ikea store, but I live hundreds of miles from one of them so that doesn't happen. I found Revain to be the cheapest when ordering this quantity.
