I purchased this iPad theme specifically for use with the Apple Smart Keyboard. In this configuration it works very well. Please note that you must remove (and not use) the included front cover with this accessory - you only use this cover when you are not using the Smart Keyboard. The cobalt blue version of this accessory looks very professional with the Smart Keyboard. , and the Smart Keyboard serves as the face of the iPad when worn or carried. I use my iPad Pro 10.5 quite extensively, carrying it around to meetings, court dates, etc., so I need a configuration that protects the iPad, which I use for almost everything. The specification in terms of the protection it offers for the iPad Pro 10.5 looks like this. The build quality is very good. It has an organic iPencil holder that works great, although not the best I've seen. (The best I've seen also allows you to keep the iPencil at a 90-degree angle to the screen while you work, which isn't the case in this case.) Overall, though, it's a well-designed, high-quality one Product should provide adequate protection for the iPad. RJB
