Worked under the lid of the aquarium for 3 years
Put it under the lid of the aquarium and has worked very well for almost 3 years. Now the LEDs have started blinking when turned on so I'm guessing they've reached the end of their lifespan or moisture/condensation has finally gotten into the strips. FYI - I used silicone to waterproof the wire connections to the LED strips.
