This unit is perfect for my desk, easy to adjust and very solid once the wobble due to poor construction is eliminated. If you feel comfortable I recommend it without problems, especially at this price. Here are the cons. I agree with other reviewers that this device was originally intended for mounting a monitor and was then adapted as a laptop stand. You can see this in the way the tray attaches to the arm, as well as the fact that the written instructions make little mention of the tray, forgetting the mentioned washers, which are included and important. The device is solid as a rock, except for one issue: it wobbles slightly left and right, which is a design flaw due to the way the tablet is attached to the arm. Monitors can tolerate a little left and right movement, but that's terrible when you're typing or even trying to position your webcam so it doesn't tilt. So here are my two solutions. Check out the 2 minute video on the Revain website first, marked as by the manufacturer - it shows anything that is missing or ambiguous in the instructions (like shims or how to align some parts). . Secondly, if the left to right wobble bothers you, do what I did, cut a piece of sheet metal and pop it into the swingarm head to tighten the fit - it greatly improved the wobble!
