These pants are very comfortable. Inside soft fleece. They're really warm when you're inside, but they're also well ventilated when you're out and about as air can flow through them easily. Cargo pockets close with Velcro and feel pretty secure. The belt ties with a drawstring and also has an elastic band. The waist is very secure after tying. You don't have to worry about your butt falling out when you crouch. These pants run a bit small - I ordered a medium size and they fit me very well. I'm a 5'5" woman and the inseam fits me so these pants might fit a larger man around the calf. These pants roll up easily. I've found the fabric to pill after just 2 days of use. not only in places with high friction, but also in places with little contact.
