Review on πŸ‘‘ Brow Bar by Reema - Hollywood Icon Face Kit - Dramatic Queen by Tracy Grant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

EXPECTED: Drama Queen. REALITY: Shy Dumb

As you might have guessed, I'm reviewing Hollywood icon drama queen's palette. Pros: I love palettes that have a solid look in a compact. It has shadows, translucent powder, bronzer, highlighter, blush. There's a big mirror in there and it stays open when lowered - sounds weird but I have way too many cardboard pallets that close when I'm trying to do a quick make-up, I don't know. I don't want to keep it open when I'm doing a full face. I guess it gives you a mirror in my life. I do makeup at my desk in my home office five minutes before a big meeting, lol. That's what you need in an all-in-one palette. Cons: It has a small double-ended eyeshadow brush that's so tiny and pointless. This is the size of those sponge applicators from the pharmacy sets of the time. If you look closely you can see it's not even double sided but 2 sloppily glued in the middle, mine isn't even flat, poorly made (see photo) that wouldn't be a big problem if it was at the pharmacy price but for $45 . Retail trade? The gold plastic tin is nice and solid, but it picks up fingerprints like crazy if that's something you're into. Finally, the pigment. Not good. I have shown swatches, they look better on the picture than in real. Using such a brush gives almost no pigment, see fig. So, I think if you don't like bold bright colors and similar subtle shades of color, this is for you. I don't, so I won't buy anything from this brand again.
