My husband recently immigrated from Brazil where he is used to having a professional haircut and beard every week (for around $7). I told him we can't afford it here so we decided to buy this kit. He had some beard grooming experience in the past and some hair cutting experience, but nothing professional. After six weeks of practice he does a great job and even manages to trim the hair on the back of his head with this tool (I only do his neckline). He cuts his hair short on the sides and grows long on top (he learned from watching stylists cut his hair and watching YouTube videos). He also bought a straight blade razor to get clean edges around his beard and along his hairline. We're thankful he can keep looking great as long as we don't have to pay a stylist/hairdresser every week!
