Summary: This monitor is great for extending your laptop's screen, but you may find that it's slightly larger than the laptop itself. Connecting to your computer/laptop via USB-C gives you a second screen instantly . No additional cables are required. If you want/need to charge your laptop at the same time, this monitor has USB-C pass-through power delivery. I connected a 100w USB-C power adapter to the monitor and then the included USB-C video cable from the monitor to the laptop. The monitor automatically becomes brighter because it no longer draws power from the laptop battery. The included magnetic foldable lid/stand is a really nice touch. If you have an iPad with an Apple Flip, it's a very similar concept. The only thing that bothers me is that the monitor is a bit big. I didn't deduct a star because the size is stated in the product description. However, I have two laptops, one that I consider my portable travel laptop (Microsoft Surface) and the other my work/meeting laptop (Lenovo), and the item that doesn't fit well in my bag is this portable monitor. I wish the long side was an inch shorter.
