Review on Enhance Motorcycle Safety: Dot Approved Chrome 7inch LED Headlight with 4.5inch Matching Chrome Passing Lamps + Adapter Ring and Wire Adapter by Greg Roberts

There was no way it could fit in the housing behind the lamp assembly (pretty sure the lamp was out of warranty)>.

Installed them on my 2003 Ultra Classic yesterday. Headlight and retaining ring fit fine, but I'm not thrilled with the headlight adjuster springs. Seems like they could be a little tighter. The factory headlight connector went straight to the LED headlight, so I didn't need the adapter connector that came with it. Spotlights, on the other hand, were a different story. I had to cut the universal quick disconnect connector off the wiring coming out of the case. There was no way it could fit into the housing behind the lamp assembly (pretty sure the lamp is out of warranty) > I soldered spade terminals to plug directly into my bike's factory plugs. The next thing to notice is that they are not inserted deep enough into the case for the trim/lock to fit fully into the case's groove. After a while I managed to put the ring on. Seems to hold up. Otherwise I can drill out the light housings so they go in deeper when they pop out. I went for a walk with it last night. I have to say that these things shed some serious light. They make factory lights look like birthday candles in a hurricane. UPDATE: I DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH AUX. ILLUMINATE TO ENSURE THE PAD/SNAP RING IS PROPERLY SEATED IN THE GROVE OF THE HOUSING. FIRST I REMOVE THE THIN LIGHT SUPPORT RING, THEN I INSERTED THE LED LIGHT INTO THE TRIM RING. THE NEXT THING TO DO WAS TO CUT A PART OF THE 3/16 VACUUM LINE OF SUFFICIENT LENGTH TO TRANSFER THE DIAMETER OF THE BACKGROUND INSIDE THE RIM RING TO BE CLAMPED BETWEEN THE LAMP AND HOUSING. YOU MUST BALANCE THE LIGHT ON THE EYE AND TIGHTEN IT. THE RIM RING NOW FITS CORRECTLY AND THE HOSE PREVENTS THE LAMP FROM CONTAMINING
