Buckle closes/closes well (and releases easily). .There is absolutely nothing to complain about. I will buy another one or two (different colors). 5 Stars. Be prepared to shorten the belt (it will probably be too long for you). Although it's easy. Just get a good pair of scissors and after cutting, burn off the end with a lighter (if you're careful you can open the aluminum piece at the end and reattach it to the end of your shorter belt).
