This duvet arrived on time. I washed in cold water on a gentle spin and then tumble dried on low heat. I watched it closely and took it out before it was completely dry and let it air dry for the rest. The blanket is exactly as described. Soft, warm and super comfortable. I ordered this blanket in white, and next to my fluffy white blanket, the color was almost a hair's breadth (more off-white, not super white). The main reason I ordered this blanket was to give my love bug (cat) a comfortable and warm place on the bed to sleep. As much as I would love to keep this blanket, unfortunately I have to return it because my beautiful cat is very allergic to it. We only had it on the bed for a few hours before we had to remove it completely! So, I just wanted to post a message for each person who has an allergy prone pet, so be careful.
