I stopped using chemical hair removers many years ago after having a reaction to Nair facial hair removers. I used Nair facial hair removal cream for many years before having this reaction. I was skeptical about another chemical hair remover but decided to invest in this one based on its relatively good reviews. Also, the claims for sensitive skin were an added bonus. I tested the product on a small area under my cheek and lip and indeed it removed the hair as promised. This left some irritation (see redness in the picture) in the area and redness that burned when I later washed my face. However, I didn't have that reaction anywhere else on my face when I applied it. I liked that this product has no smell; That's one of the things I didn't like about Nair and other chemical hair removers. I have thick black facial hair around my mustache and on my chin (South Asian origin). I have options: thread (oops), wax (not good for my thick hair), or shave (hate how it grows back). I left the product on a small area for the recommended two minutes and saw that some hairs would come out, but not all. Then I decided to leave the product on for five minutes (the manufacturer says no more than 8 minutes) and then there were good results. It removes all hair in the area where I applied it. I definitely love this product and will continue to use it but I'm only keeping one star because I was annoyed. Other than that, it's definitely the best chemical hair remover I've ever used considering the ease of use, hair removal time and lack of smell (my favorite aspect).
