I compared the GVM 50rs bulbs to the Neewer and Weeylite in the Prosumer line and found the quality of the white bulbs to be superior. Neewer in particular seems to add a slight red cast to my face at 5600k while GVM doesn't. RGB is a closer call. Curtains and diffusers are great for controlling the spread of light. What's not great is the app. It's terrible. The other two indicators use Bluetooth as connection and connect immediately. GVM uses WIFI and requires you to switch the WIFI on your phone to the GVM WIFI in order for the app to talk to the light, but it speaks slowly and periodically drops the connection, making the whole experience a royal pain. If you are looking for a quality light I would recommend them. If having an app that lets you quickly control your lighting setup is important, you'll be disappointed. I don't see how GVM can fix this as I don't think they have bluetooth enabled in them. So if they can't find a way to pair the light with the app's wifi, instead of pairing the app with the current method the lights' wifi, that's the situation you have to live in.
