IMMEDIATE HELP! for cats

Combines both large and small fleas and flea residue. This works on both my long haired and short haired cats. The comb is strong, the teeth do not bend. (See DIRECTIONS FOR USE below.) Note: Although I have long haired cats with undercoats, their coats don't tangle much. The mats must be combed, otherwise the comb will not go through. Be sure to comb her cheeks if you can. HOW TO USE: Keep a bowl of water and plenty of dish soap nearby. If there are fleas or dirt in the comb, dip the comb in water, then lift it up and push any fleas and hair left on the comb into the water. You can use a Q-Tip if you like. Fleas can't jump out of soapy water. (You don't want them to jump back on the cat or you!) The flea debris will come out along with some hairs in the comb and turn the water pink/burgundy. It's disgusting, but fleas shed blood and it's them that colors the water. It looks like a pepper until it hits the water and then dissolves. I dry the comb with a paper towel and start over. When you're done, rinse off the used water. We use flea products and flea traps, but one of my cats is suffering. I received this hairbrush and wow - no surprise. I have used the comb on all 4 cats. Others had a few fleas, but this cat had a lot! Despite being biologically related to both of my cats and receiving the same treatment, he was much worse. I comb my special cat every day and whenever she starts itching until we get rid of the fleas. We started yesterday. We continue with other types of treatment. After so many heat waves, the fleas are out of control. We are happy to add another tool to our arsenal. After the first flea comb, he relaxed in my arms and fell asleep. He experienced instant relief!
