Super soft and cuddly. My daughter lay down to snuggle on it when I first showed it to her. I slept well in it too. But the next morning the zipper got stuck at the bottom. I wound it up but it got stuck at the top again and the baby got stuck in the pocket! I was very shocked. I didn't want to use the scissors that close to her face and neck so I had to stretch out her arms and pull them over her head. I hope it's an accident and we have a bad one. I bought the same one in pink and the zipper almost got stuck tonight. I'll swap that one out for a new one and hope all is well. UPDATE: We received a blue replacement. It has similar zipper issues and is really annoying. I need a zipper that goes up and down easily because I have a naughty toddler that I want to put to sleep. It's the inner fabric that folds next to the zipper that gets caught. If there was more fabric it probably wouldn't have been pulled into the zipper. This is even more pain for me because I got a disability in my hands/fingers. I prefer pink because it was less of an issue, but the company can easily fix it by either adding more stitching or sewing on the extra piece around the zipper on the side. I can only do the latter to get through the winter without taking the baby out of the blanket.
