I ordered this blanket in a twin size because I've been cold watching TV and I liked the more high quality look of this blanket over similar ones with the sherpa pile and the arrow pattern on top of the blanket. While this blanket seems nicely made, its very light weight, provides minimal to no warmth and has a VERY STRONG chemical smell emanating from the entire blanket, so much so, its giving me a headache. The chemical smell is a combination of old candle wax and something noxious smelling. I'm going to give it a couple of days to 'off odor' the chemical smell and if the smell doesn't disappear. I've had this blanket for 3 months and wouldn't recommend this except as a decorative item. In summary, this blanket is overpriced, smells of chemicals and provides little to no warmth.Update: Feb 1, 2022. The chemical smell is gone from this blanket I washed this blanket three times. I washed it by itself because the red die bleeds from the blanket. Its 67 degrees in my house and I covered myself with this blanket and it provided almost zero warmth. This blanket is a total failure for providing warmth of any kind.
