It's slightly big on my 5yo but comfortable, she didnt complain it was hot or anything. Best part, no sunburn! My only gripe is theres no definitive front or back and she's accustomed to looking for a printed on label but it's fine. For her age, it's great paired with a bikini bottom because she can go potty without help. No fussing with one piece snaps or getting totally nakie to go potty like with a one piece. My 5yo is 40lbs and 43" tall.
