Review on Honey-Can-Do Dinnerware Storage Set, 5-Piece, White - SFT-01630 by Renee Warren

Mostly dustproof, less protection

These thin, quilted plastic storage cases are more for dust-free storage than padded, secure storage. If you want something reliable for your 100 year old Limoges china then you have to pay more and get more. But for my 60's retro German china it keeps it dust free in a china cabinet and ready to party. The cup holder could have used padded dividers instead of cardboard. One container had a broken zipper. (Hello, duct tape.) If you unwrap your good china on a weekly or even monthly basis, I'd go to higher quality covers because they're going to tear eventually. (But then, duct tape.) Some of my items didn't really fit - I have a European dinnerware set with weird little consommé cups and gravy boats with shaped plates. So they didn't stand a chance of being a good fit; I used a second cup box and didn't put in all the dividers. Likewise, there was no space for casseroles (vegetable dishes, closed and open) or plates. I just ordered a 3rd set and converted a mug box into something for plates and used one of the plate boxes for one of the casseroles. The coffee service and other items just have to hang. But overall, slipcovers are a great way to keep your closet more compact and your dishes cleaner between uses. Light foam rubber (like a thin sheet of white foam in the boxes) is placed between the sheets. Keep whatever you get from supplies: you may need more in the future.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
