I buy different brands of ballet tights hoping to find some stretchy and comfortable ones for my daughter. She is 8 years old, of average build. I just don't get it - why aren't there elastic, comfortable ballet tights? It's so frustrating. This also applies to the ballet leotard. Are ballet dresses only made for thin bodies? Lately I've bought size 12-14 (it's the largest size for girls from most brands). They are all still very tight. This brand - I bought XXL as it is the largest size offered. Right out of the box I knew they wouldn't work either. It seems to be for 6 year olds. In length they look like all other branded tights for 12-14 year olds (as if they would fit a 6 year old). Good density texture, like other brands (Stella, Dipup, etc.). It doesn't stretch. I checked the belt with my hands. It's not super flexible. This is a return. If anyone finds the brand's elastic and comfortable ballet flats for medium girls, please share. Produce - please, make ballerinas for normal bodies - the market is huge, you will have loyal customers, you have no competition now.
