If you have a lot of hats or are finding great deals that are a close but not perfect fit, this is a great set. I have a stretcher for these undersized vintage hats and bought it to cope with the discounts but not my exact size. Also, there are many reasonably priced modern hats in S/M and L/XL and if you are a smaller size this set offers a more comfortable fit. This scenario actually inspired me to buy this kit - I fell in love with the S/M tweet cap and it was too big. This set makes it perfect and has inspired me to purchase several more color and pattern options for the same cap brand/model. It's easy to use and the ribbons are pretty standard. Similar kits are sold by several companies so I went with the cheapest and was happy. The adhesive holds absolutely, and the different thicknesses of the tapes offer a variety of solutions.
