Just received it, opened it up, put the batteries in and turned it on. They all lit up and seemed to be working. I will say I don't like how they tend to flip over to reveal the bulb, but since they were on my robe I wasn't overly concerned. One day I noticed they were beginning to fade but reappeared when I moved them to try and turn the sheets over. I left it on for several hours and turned it off to go to bed. A few minutes after turning them off, I turned them back on to show my husband and a strand didn't come up. I lifted the battery to see if it was loose, popped it open and the spring popped out, allowing the battery to stay in place no longer. I'm sending them back and getting a replacement, we'll see if they last longer as I expected them to last more than a few hours.
