Great little board but don't add more than 12V it will pop! Super Load Starting Sound

Put 16V in this thing and it blew out. 12 volts is fine. Super loud startup sound and Bluetooth connection sound. Just wondering why it says it can handle 25V power, I bet it will explode if you plug in 25. I did 16.4v and popped and started smoking. Worked fine on 12 volts until I wanted more power. Works fine if only 12 volts.
