Not safe for child wearing

Initially I thought this was going to be a great product for use of baby wearing. I tried it on and fitted all the straps without my child in it. When I tightened the straps they felt very slippery. So I applied some pressure/resistance as though my child was in it and the straps slipped right through the fasteners or clips that are supposed to keep it tight. I immediately felt like this would be unsafe to place my child in. One wrong wiggle or too much weight and the straps would be too loose and then the device becomes a safety and falling hazard for my child. Ummm. nope. I had to send it back.
