Smartphone cameras are amazing whatever they are. Like many compact digital cameras, especially Canon and Nikon superzooms. But growing up when film was at its peak, I lacked the versatility and expandability of SLRs. This Nikon D5600 is a great choice for those who want more than just point and shoot and want to print at resolutions other than Facebook quality. It's not as complex as the more expensive models in Nikon's range, but is more than adequate for most amateur photographers who want to evolve as part of their hobby. The 24MP DX format sensor delivers high quality prints that go beyond 8x10 and is the perfect size for anyone who has ever used a 35mm SLR. I chose the model with the 18-140mm zoom lens, which is enough for the occasional shot. If you've previously shot with 35mm SLRs and used compact and bridge digital cameras, this DSLR will help you get back into photography. as you remember. In fact, it's better than the Nikon and Pentax I've had before thanks to autofocus, long battery life (no longer freezes after 36 exposures), and multi-ISO versatility. A seasoned shooter might be happier with the D7200 or D7500, but even then it's a great second case.
