Durable product for bags, cases and cases

I looked at TWO Zagg Slim books before buying this one. My complaint about them was the weak design. Both had the same problem. After 3 months, for no apparent reason, microcracks appeared on the edges of the plastic. Most of the time my iPad stays on my bedside table. I don't drop it on the table when I put it back. It wasn't overused enough to justify such shortcomings so early on. This product is not made of cheap plastic. Whatever it is, it's thick and looks like an iMac lid from the outside. I can't foresee cracks in this case without a major fall. Another issue I had with the Zagg product was that the magnet holding the iPad upright eventually came loose and could no longer hold it. This product doesn't work that way. Laptop-Like Design: The iPad case does not separate from the keyboard. You need to insert the iPad and press the eject button to eject it. This product is from China and the instructions are not very good. It took me a while to figure out how to pair, change the backlight settings, etc. But once I figured it out, it was a breeze to use. Like most worthwhile iPad keyboard cases, this one is very bulky and laptop-heavy, FYI. I don't use it all the time and can't comment on the battery life yet. But it's been over a month now and I haven't had to charge it yet, so it should hold a charge pretty well. Overall I like it and I want to be the first to know about it.
