I really like the light function, it illuminates my daughter's room perfectly. It is very pleasant to look at. This car is very quiet. I like that it has a humidity sensor. I LOVE the top fill feature. It's much more comfortable than my bottom-filled humidifier. I just kept an old Rubbermaid jug in the bathroom and used the tub to quickly fill it up, then brought the jug into the room to fill the humidifier. Make sure you put the lid right side up. I accidentally put it back upside down and couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. The mist didn't rise very far and a wet mess formed around the humidifier. I thought I might have poured water down the pipe in the tank that says not to pour water. No, it was just user error and I flipped the lid. Ouch! Everything is better now! The description states that the bedroom is one large room. My bedroom isn't that big and it struggled to get to the 60% I set it to. My daughter's room is a little smaller than mine and she hit 60% with no problems. I'm not sure I necessarily agree with the "large room bedroom" in the description. However, it should be noted that we heat our house with a wood-fired boiler system and keep it at around 72 degrees. Our house is warm and good, but the firewood makes it very dry. Not sure if it has any impact on how hard this little machine has to work to get the humidity up a bit. Overall I'm happy with this machine and it fits perfectly in my daughter's room and I'm glad I have it. , both for the humidity and for the beautiful night light it offers.
