Review on πŸ›οΈ Delta Children Smooth Glide Bedside Bassinet - Portable Crib with Activity Mobile Arm: Spinning Toys, Nightlight & Music, Silver Linings by Melissa Perez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done I recommend.

I've had this bassinet for 9 months now. I used it from birth of baby to 4.5 months old. I stopped at this point because. She got too big for it and started tossing and turning in her sleep, which made it unsafe. I recommend this product - it is very durable. I moved three times during my maternity leave. And by moving I mean I literally moved from the East Coast to the Midwest and then to the West Coast. The thing worked with no problems. We set it up and took it down for an hour the first time, then 15-20 minutes. The mattress was ok, I didn't buy another one. I ended up not using all the bells and whistles that came with it, but it was certainly nice to have. Keep in mind music etc is battery powered which is very inconvenient. Storage space under the baby bath was a clutch! We kept diapers, tissues and bibs so we didn't have to go anywhere at night. It was wonderful. I put it back in the box in case we have another baby. I gave it four stars for three main reasons: 1- The bassinet has a wide base so the edge of the bassinet doesn't end up flush with your bed meaning you have to physically get up to get your baby out of it which is annoying in the middle of the night. 2 - The cradle is a little high and this also contributes to problem number one. Our bed is medium height. 3 - The fabric in the part of the bed was removable and therefore washable. The fabric on the hood isn't such that we couldn't wash it once it came out of the box so we didn't use it but we didn't really mind as our baby was born in the winter. Maybe it would have made a bigger difference if the baby had been born in the summer with lots of sunshine.
