As others have written I need a socket for the dashcam which is always on and one for the Garmin navigator which I only use occasionally - well, it helped. . Used a few times so far, works great. The connections are secure, a soft blue glow indicates the device has power, the extension cord is more than long enough for my needs. Also, the connection to the car socket is very tight, so be careful when taking it out and wiggle slowly to get out - don't pull the cable or it may break. There are two USB ports, but I haven't used them yet. For the price it's great!
