The listing says it eliminates flicker. The reason I sent them back is because I was trying to use them with D-Lumina LED bulbs. I believe if I can get them all the same brand they should be compatible. I do not think so. It dimmed the daytime running lights so much that the light was barely visible and, to my surprise, still flickered. This item was supposed to eliminate flicker, but it wasn't on the 2014 Subaru, nothing out of the ordinary, no sensors, no electronics. .I'm giving it a 2 instead of a 1 because it seems to be of good quality and is actually heavy like a HID ballast, but I couldn't test it as it didn't work as advertised.
