We agreed to buy these, I was hoping they had an open back as the cups had a mesh very similar to the famous Phillips SHP-9500. Unfortunately, this mesh optic was purely decorative and they are closed. They are almost identical in construction to the Audio Technica, ath-m50, the shape of the hinges and the folding mechanism are identical. Comfortable all day with thick memory foam pads and earmuffs. From memory, the sound signature is very similar to the tireless Audio Technica, with a slight bass boost. My daily drivers in the office are Sennheiser Momentum and Hifiman's M400 series. I equated the sound with the Momentum, albeit not with the 10x more expensive Hifimans. The comfort is amazing, on par with the old Takstar Pro-82. Looks a bit busy but not terrible. The real bonus of these headphones is the price. The cheapest headphones I mentioned for comparison are the $80 Takstar, and these cost $30. I mentioned that they are easy to use. When using my Schitt Fulla 2 DAC headphone amp I found that they run great on a laptop and draw far less power than most of my other amps. This is a great entry into the world of headphones at a low price of $30.
