My tall, lanky husband wears 36x36 jeans in the summer and 38x36 jeans in the winter to suit the winter thermals - I always buy them anyway, the straps are size 38 and they always fit great! It is currently a warm fall season so my husband is still wearing his 36 inch jeans but the 38 inch belt barely fits him. We ordered 2 belts from this company, both run a bit small. suits him at all, the 38 inches hardly suit him anymore. Obviously we should have ordered both belts as 40 inches. I recommend ordering a size or two larger. Otherwise, the material and processing quality appear appropriate and suitable. I docked the star for reasons of size.
