Review on Scotch-Brite Easy Erasing Pad - Stain, Soap Scum & Hard Water Spot Remover, Chemical-Free Solution (Pack of 24) by Donna Taflinger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why didn't I try this YEARS ago?!?

A few weeks ago I bought two packs of these items at a local garage sale and decided to see how they held up against the unsightly scuffs, stains and stains that seem to live on my walls over the years . In short, I was shocked! All of those fancy spots were erased by the pads I bought, although I REALLY have to say that the white erasing surface on my pads didn't last long. In a 1 bedroom apartment, a pillow will cover about 10 feet of floor to ceiling wall. That's actually how many square feet I've covered (it was about three times that much), but with scuffs and stains scattered throughout, this is my estimate of how much coverage you can get on a sponge when working on signs that have been there for many years are. And considering how well the sponges actually held up after the white erase went away, I'm guessing I got the "large" size based on the description in the top rated review, like the smaller size fully fell apart. That didn't happen with my sponges, so they must be big. Despite the lack of durability in mind, I definitely plan on getting more of these sponges, especially since they clear up the marks, which I had completely given up on. if removed. I've tried almost every mundane remedy I have at home to remove these marks and nothing has worked; at least without removing the paint from the walls! Btw I don't have an actual Mr. Clean Magic yet, I just went with these as they were so cheap at the store I found them at. In short, these things are great! You can't (hopefully!) throw them away for your weekly house cleaning, but they're invaluable for those stains and stains that just won't go away!
