Review on Sally Hansen Stray Beware Needle Tweezer by Lindsay Ray

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Three brands, one winner

I bought three different tweezers (all the same style) to see which one is better. I mainly use them to remove ingrown hairs after shaving or maybe splinters. I might as well use them to pull out the occasional stray hair. I bought the following: Sally Hansen Stray Hair Beware - needle-tipped tweezers Professional pointed tweezers Tweezerman ingrown hair tweezers Splinters The Sally Hansen ingrown hair tweezers are the worst (1 star). They are so poorly made that they don't even capture the thickest hair. The tips are too big/blunt and the tips don't meet precisely and evenly so no matter what you do the hair just slides through the tweezers. Are they cheap but useless except maybe for small screws and bolts? The Tweezes brand is suitable for large shards (2 stars). They don't grab fine hairs, they can grab really fine hairs. Like hit or miss. Hair often falls out. The tips are long and thin, which is a good thing. For the price, I really wish it worked, but it wasn't ideal. Tweezerman (Silver) Splintweeze is pretty good (4 stars). I've owned several of these. They last about 3 months, then they are no longer good. Tips move, bend, or just stop working. However, if they work, it's very good! They catch very fine hairs and the hair does not slip. They're more expensive, but they really work. I hope this review helps people spend money on products that don't work and buy the ones that work.
