I never write reviews but I found some tips to make this work better so I wanted to share them. To be honest I almost sent these back in the beginning because they came out too streaky and the pads kept falling off mid-clean. But after practicing on the shower door (which was actually a very effective way to clean it!) I realized a few things: - The U shape is best for minimizing streaks - Walk about 50% of the previous line to minimize streaks. and help the edges - when tightening the overlays, insert the clamps vertically and then rotate 90 degrees to secure **it's not mentioned anywhere in the instructions but it kept the overlays from falling off! General Thoughts: PROS: - Gets the job done at a fraction of the cost of professional pads - Easy to wash and reusable - Comes with extra fasteners and pads unlike other brands CONS: - Learning curve takes a few times to figure out - to the Time As the safety wire loop is strong and doesn't wear out, it definitely stung my wrist when the item fell off - difficulty cleaning windows with guards on them - definitely not a professional cleaning - depending on window type, this may not work. I live in an apartment on the 4th floor and have side windows that open, with window bars below and I couldn't clean them.
