I bought this watch because I am allergic to nickel/copper. Almost every watch I've worn, from Casio, Timex, Fitbit, Swatch, and other casual watches, gives me a nasty pus-filled rash. Which doesn't look good when you're a bartender. So again, I bought this watch for this reason and I haven't had a rash from this watch since I bought it in early October 2019. Pros: The watch still works, minimal scratches on the glass (surprising given how my other watches get scratched by the bartender.) It stays in the splash zone and sink. I've never worn it in the shower though. Therefore, it can withstand some exposure to water. The bamboo case is also holding up well. Just a little dry. Now for the cons: the straps are poorly designed. The first loop is too close to the buckle and the second loop slides too easily on the strap, some might say it is two millimeters larger than the strap. So, from time to time, the watch falls off because it opens or snaps into another hole in the strap. Second, the crown became too loose and fell out. So I can't wind the watch to the right time (when daylight saving time comes). Can I recommend this watch? mmh depends. If you're looking for a watch that won't cost you a lot of money for years to come, sure. If you are looking for a durable watch that will last a long time, look elsewhere. If you buy this watch I would recommend changing the bands.
