There is a hidden waist belt on the inside that you can pull on the velcro straps on each side to adjust the waist belt to your liking. Belt loops on the outside of the waistband if They prefer to wear a belt.The length is perfect.The leg width is flattering,slightly flared at the bottom,zips to match the boots.With an inner layer that prevents snow or wind from getting in.First I bought the youth plus size for these Brand (as some reviews say fit women of the same height and weight) but the hip area was too narrow and 3 inches short for me so high Recommend sizing down these pants if you have a similar body type and similar sizing.I think the sizing chart is correct.I wanted to be able to wear an inner layer pant like Thermal Tech or Fleece with these pant so I didn't resize them to xsmall.
