They are cut free.
I thought they were tight like most water shoes so I ordered a size up. They are so big. It's been a few months and they're still big. Laugh out loud. I'm just saving them for this summer. Hopefully they will be operational by then.

- My kid loved these!! They said they feel fine. The only problem is that the floor fell out of the trunk.
Cons
- Lack of Arch Support – Shoes may not provide adequate support for a child's developing feet, which can lead to foot pain and other problems.
