Review on TOAOFY Green Backdrop 5X7Ft 100 Percent Pure Muslin Collapsible Backdrops Background For Photography Video And Television TAY003 by Andrew Dickens

I ordered two different 5x7 backgrounds and two 8x10 bright primaries for an upcoming pinup photo shoot. It was one of the 5x7. Since I very rarely use them for the portraits I usually do, I didn't want to spend a lot on them. I already have too many Lastolite, Savage, and Kate wallpapers and they're all very good overall, but oh well. This shooting didn't justify such expenses. So another 5x7 was $4 less than this one from TOAOFY and I made the stupid assumption that they are very similar. YOU ARE NOT. This TOAOFY is a lot more background than I expected for a great price. It's weighty, drapes well, has clean edges, has excellent tumble smoothing and is slightly opaque. Avoid the bright windows beyond and you'll be fine. The cheaper $11 option is pretty much useless, comparable to the recycled protective film you might find on a shipped product. "Nonwoven" should have been my clue. There is no weight, no drape and the creases are persistent and obvious. Completely unsuitable for this purpose. So I recommend this product to anyone on a budget who needs a background for displaying products or for photography. That's a lot more than I expected. The cost belies the quality. Just don't make the mistake of spending even less. If you do, it will cost you twice: once for the packaging backdrop and again for that one. Just buy TOAOFY and you're done.
